David is the Managing Principal of the GMDR Group and has over 20 years’ experience in the energy utility industry.  David’s extensive management consulting experience across the utility sector in Australia is further augmented by additional background in the petrochemical industry at a senior level. David’s expertise includes project & change management; strategic and commercial analysis and modelling; procurement strategy and management; business and product development; operational & regulatory process review and re-engineering.

Joanne Rankine - Senior Consultant

Joanne is an experienced consultant who utilises well developed project management and facilitation experience, along with business process and analysis skills to efficiently manage a range of business projects and operational initiatives.  Joanne’s 20+ years’ experience has been gained predominantly in the electricity, gas and petroleum industries and spans across the major functions within organisations.  This range of industry experience and operational knowhow is further enhanced by excellent writing skills, making Joanne’s technical and specification writing an asset to any project.

Penny Cayzer - Senior Consultant

Penny has over 30 years’ experience in providing consulting advice and project management expertise that has been gained across a number of technically oriented industries.  Recently, Penny has been levering this experience to provide consulting assistance in the utilities industry covering records and project management, as well as back office and regulatory areas. Additionally, Penny has been involved in many bid and proposal responses for both private industry and government ranging from IT application support outsourcing to full application consulting, development and integration.

Ian Gibson

Ian has detailed experience in strategy, business development, technology and business redesign, and commercial deal making from the banking, utilities and consulting industries. Ian’s expertise includes strategy formulation, scenario and strategic planning, business process reengineering, business development and market entry, retailing and marketing, technology and business redesign, and management and leadership.

Jenny Howes

Jenny is an experienced project and business administrator whose skills have primarily been gained through her roles in cultural heritage management, academic and training areas. Jenny is adaptable and utilises well developed communications skills to effect quick resolution of issues and ensures all administration parameters are addressed. Jenny is capable of working independently and is also able to contribute in a team environment.
